Safe Arrival - New Jersey

With an early send-off, and several hours on the road, we have safely arrived at our temporary "camp."  We stayed busy today in the vans braiding thread, eating, and interacting with our mascot Hurber(t).  All the girls (and Matt) were in the 15 passenger van and the guys were in the Caravan. After a tiring day on the road, and some play time at the church, most of us are ready for sleep to claim us. So Good night all and thank you for your prayers and support!

Send - Off

After almost 8 months of planning and talking about New York City, we are only a few days away from leaving!  For those who would like to take part in the send-off, we will be meeting at the church parking lot Saturday morning, July 17, at 7:15 a.m.  Pastor Bill will be giving a short devotional and prayer for our group and then we plan on departing at 7:30 a.m.  We would love to see everyone there!  Thanks again for all of your support and encouragement!

Prayer Sheet

As a youth group, we would appreciate your prayers for us as we serve on our mission trip this summer.  Please pray for safe travels, that the Lord would bless the work that we do as well as the people that we meet, that our group would continue to grow in community with one another, and that we would be challenged and be able to grow deeper in our love for the Lord as well as have opportunities to be His hands and feet to others.
